Redefining Change

I.

Why do we concern ourselves,

With the spots on a leopard,

Or whether he is able,

To change the spots at his whim?

II.

Outward appearance is fixed,

It is set, unchangeable.

Why of this are we concerned?

Looks will never hold value.

III.

If the leopard wants to change,

He simply must change his mind.

About John White

I've written off and on my entire life. It took years for me to finally take putting words together seriously. Now it's not, nor does it ever feel, like work. Writing daily has become habitual. No day is complete without words having appeared on the page.
