Learn:

To hear with your eyes,

To speak with your touch,

To see with your ears.

Relearn all anew,

Awake the senses.

I've written off and on my entire life. It took years for me to finally take putting words together seriously. Now it's not, nor does it ever feel, like work. Writing daily has become habitual. No day is complete without words having appeared on the page.

    Beautiful! This reminded me of synesthesia, a neurological phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway. This was what made True Detective so poetic.
