I wanted to try something new.

I’ve added a new page of visuals of short poems I’ve written. They are poem memes (or Poememes as I call them © doubleupoet 😉 ).

You can visit the new page here or click on the page in the menu at the top of the page.

About John White

I've written off and on my entire life. It took years for me to finally take putting words together seriously. Now it's not, nor does it ever feel, like work. Writing daily has become habitual. No day is complete without words having appeared on the page.

  1. Very nice… impressed…

  2. Those are nice! I like them. I used to do something similar to this!

    • Thank you, Doug! 🙂 It’s not a bad idea to use something like this to get your writing out there. I’ve seen it done and I wanted to give it a try and (I hope) coin a new term for it. 😉

  3. Wow! They are wonderful! 🙂

  4. love it as usual, I’ve posted it on my twitter account @DrKABishop

  5. Love these “pomemes”

  6. Lovely! And hope you will continue! I realized not long ago that I too enjoy writing short poetry / quotes. It’s a very fulfilling creative outlet :).

  7. Short, concise poems can contain a world of feeling and meaning, and I read you handle the form beautifully. I also think of life as an opera, heroes, villains, the innocent caught in the middle and ending the way many operas do.
