Colors of Life

soaked in sepia

mass of monochrome

listless grays

between black and white

these exanimate days

.

now to seek splashes

of the colors of life

to signal that someone

inhabits these spans

from dusk to dawn

About John White

I've written off and on my entire life. It took years for me to finally take putting words together seriously. Now it's not, nor does it ever feel, like work. Writing daily has become habitual. No day is complete without words having appeared on the page.

    As always Sheldon

  3. Reblogged this on Karen Stephen aka Doc Flamingo and commented:
An awesome poem to give our spirits a jump start. ❤️

  4. Morgan Monique Byers

    Wonderful words

  5. Nice words. Sometimes black and white photos can look awesome… so without colour is not always a bad thing.

  6. Lovely! Thank you for colouring my day!
